After begging my mom for years, I began taking piano in the fourth grade. Throughout my studies, I enjoyed not only learning the rich classical repertoire, but also playing with jazz bands, singing groups, and in church. I went on to receive a music degree from Brigham Young University. A dozen years ago I decided to pass on this love for music through teaching. It's been a joy seeing my students gain not only a new skill, but also an appreciation for the art of music. I've taught from age 5 to 45 and loved them all!
