from Lyatoshinsky State Music College and Master's
Degree in Music Education from State University
of Art (Ukraine).
Irene Litvinovich has over 20 year of experience
teaching students at all levels and ages and has
taught internationally in Europe, Canada and USA.
Irene is a member of Chicago Area Music Teachers
Association, Illinois State Music Teachers Association,
and Music Teachers National Association.
The emphasis of her teaching style is on proper
technique and musical development through positive
reinforcement. She believes that music can be used
as a tool for bettering one self and living a fuller
life.
All of her students learn Technique, Musicianship,
Theory and sight reading.
Lessons for young students are focused on learning
to enjoy music along side of studying proper technique/music
discipline (finger placement, relaxation, posture,
etc.)
For older beginners - the pace is set up to accommodate
a working adult, complete with specialized practice
plans and exercises.
Presently Ms. Litvinovich teaches privately in her
home studio in Naperville (Illinois). Many of her
students participate annually in competitions as
well as in festivals and receive high ratings and
grades. All students participate in Studio Recitals,
which are held twice a year.
