Pianist instructor, Regina Ziliani,
began her piano studies at the age of 9. She has
studied with such well-respected pedagogues as Dr.
Hao Huang and Lera Borden while a student at The
Petrie School of Music at Converse College. She
was a awarded the prestigious Daniel Music Scholarship
at Converse College for piano studies and also played
violin with the Converse Chamber Orchestra and the
Greater Spartanburg Philharmonic.
Mrs Ziliani has been teaching successfully for
over fifteen years and is the owner of The Regina
Ziliani Piano Studio. Her teaching studio is fully
equipped with piano, keyboards, computer, music
education software, white boards, and other teaching
aids making it an ideal place for learning. Although
many styles of music are taught, such as sacred,
jazz, blues, pop and musical theater, classical
music is the primary teaching genre. Mrs. Ziliani
offers a well-rounded curriculum of performance,
ear-training, sight-reading, theory, technique,
and music history.
Students range in age from 4 through adult, and
many of her students have received high honors for
their performances in various events such as the
National Piano Guild Auditions, the National Federation
of Music Clubs Festivals. Several students have
been awarded scholarships to continue their musical
studies in college or university. Performance opportunities
include annual recitals, scholarship auditions,
community events and music festivals.
Professional associations include the National
Guild of Piano Teachers, the National Federation
of Music Clubs, the Charlotte Piano Teachers Forum,
Delta Omicron, and the American College of Musicians.
