Matt Weiers is a private piano teacher in Portland, Oregon. He received his B.A. in Applied Aesthetics at the University of Michigan, where he studied music composition, performance, and improvisation. His compositions have been purchased by Public Television, Piano Festivals, and used in his many concert fundraising efforts for non-profit agencies. He is active in MTNA and the Oregon Music Teachers' Association, where he is the Composition Celebration chair. Matt directs several music groups in Portland, and loves using computer software, internet, and digital technology in his teaching studio.
