Dellana Cook has a Bachelor of Music degree with an emphasis in piano pedagogy from The University of Texas at Austin. Dellana is a member of the National Music Teachers Association and a current member of the Texas Music Teachers Association. Dellana is also the founding president and past-president of The Greater Dallas Group Music Teachers Association. She has maintained a group piano studio in the Richardson/North Dallas area for the past 20 years. In addition to teaching in her studio, Dellana currently teaches early childhood music classes at the Huffhines Recreational Center and Little Saints Pre-School. Dellana assisted in piloting an “after school piano program” sponsored by the National Piano Foundation for the Richardson/North Dallas area. Dellana was selected as "Teacher of the Year 1999-2000" by the Greater Dallas Group Music Teachers Association. Dellana is a certified teacher and instructor of the Mayron Cole Group Piano Method, a certified Pace Music Teacher, a certified teacher of Musikgarten.
