I start children as early as 4, or even younger depending on their ability to concentrate for a half hour at a time. I graduated from Wichita State University with a major in French Horn Performance with a minor in Piano Performance. I have played with the Kansas City Symphony for 25 years and have taught privately for 27 years. I have created a method that teaches children how to learn to read music in their first lesson, so that they can immediately start playing at home on their own. They also have a lot of fun! |
