I am a professional piano teacher and piano technician in my early sixties with some 40 years of experience. I took 13 years of formal classical piano training up through conservatory level and have taught all piano levels since I was in my early twenties. I also worked directly with the Steinway company for many years and have my own piano tuning and repair business.
I teach any level of piano--raw beginners to advanced, any age or ability. My first love is classical piano, and I still practice many hours a week and also create CDs. I play classical, popular, jazz, boogie, rock, blues, New Age, sacred, etc., and can teach any style. I am a patient, attentive, gentle teacher that believes in you and that you CAN learn to play if you will just try and put some effort into practicing on a piano that is available to you.

Rates: $25 half hour, $38 three quarters hour, $50 one hour.
Will teach on my Steinway piano in my studio in Dennisport, or will drive to your home (additional travel reimbursement at government rate of 50 cents per mile.) |
