EXPERIENCE:
Began private piano tutoring in 1981 for non-piano music majors, by the request of professors
Currently teaching private piano and flute lessons
Director of FLUTOPIA, flute choir for intermediate to advanced middle school and high school students
TEACHING PHILOSOPHY:
Lessons are individualized to each student, based on his/her individual need, learning style and progression rate. Students are challenged, memorization is encouraged, and students are presented with exciting and fun music. Theory is incorporated into piano instruction. Opportunity for recitals and performance are provided regularly.
