I teach ages "6 to 96"; using a traditional method with solid foundations in the classics, theory, and technique; I also include jazz and improv when the student achieves a certain level of proficiency in sight-reading. With 40+ years of experience, I treat my students with patience and encouragement, making every effort to nurture them musically, as well as as individuals.
I have two recitals per year: Christmas Holiday; and June; my teenage students perform a solo recital in their senior year. My students also participate in Solo Fest for New York State Student Music Association (NYSSMA) events.
My fees are: $15 per half-hour lesson; plus extra $45 to $50 per year for books and materials. |
